Before joining Jayteeojo Foundation, I had training in desktop publishing, and coupled with my Certificates, I was made the HOD, ICT of NotreDame Girls Academy, Amoyo, Kwara State between 2008 to 2010. During these periods, I taught my students MS-DOS, literal aspects of FORTRAN, etc. Since then, I’ve been looking for an opportunity to upscale my knowledge in IT. Working with an insurance company afterward with insuretech further aroused my interest but the opportunity to develop to my dream level wasn’t surfacing then. Just when I was about to give up the dream, I looked at the horizon, and behold, JAYTEEOJO FOUNDATION surfaced, and offered me exactly, my passionate expectancy.
I came in from Ilorin, Kwara State where I had my schooling, reside and work. Although I hailed from Ekiti, Ipoti-Ekiti to be precise, this is the first time I will spend three months straight in Ekiti. I have learned a lot ranging from our course i.e. PYTHON where I learned coding, databases, desktop app development, GUI, etc. to making new friends. It has been very interesting. I am a big admirer of cloud computing generally, especially in the areas of cyber security and data science. I intend to continue building on the knowledge I have gained so far by jumping on any next available pedestal to develop further and advance as I continue to learn on jobs.
